Runde Environmental Centre is an international research station, an exhibition space, and a meeting place for courses, seminars and conferences. Runde Island is the most southerly bird cliff in Norway. The island is located in a biologically highly productive area. The main spawning grounds for many important fish populations in The North East Atlantic are found right off Runde.
Runde Environmental Centre provides facilities for researchers from all over the world to conduct research. The field station also welcomes students for field courses. Activities we could help out with include data collection, collecting and analyzing samples, conduct equipment tests, write reports and more. We also do our own research and at any time several research projects are ongoing at the centre
