Water Linked was founded in Trondheim in 2013 with the vision of becoming a world leader in high-end acoustic subsea communication systems. Through high technological R&D projects, Water Linked is bringing the next generation acoustic subsea communication system to the global maritime oil and gas markets.

Products and Services

wLink The wLink is Water Linked’s proprietary technology for acoustic subsea communication and positioning. wLink will enable up to 10 times faster data communication than current acoustic systems on short to medium distances. The technology utilizes innovative solutions for communication as well as state of the art hardware. wDrone The wDrone is a fully wireless remotely operated subsea drone. It is developed by Water Linked in collaboration with NTNU and exchange student resources from HES-SO. The drone is enabled by the wLink wireless communication and positioning technology.
